The automated ‘UNIVERSAL FLYING DISK’ UFD aircrafts of the future are operated under ‘Fleet Control Centers’ and the various CITY VERTIPORTS provide the Passenger logistics, Weather shelter and Maintenance facilities.

• VERTIPORT LANDING PADS & SHELTERS

 

 

THE CITY UFD PORT SHELTER COMPLEX

​

The City UFD Ports consist of Landing Pads located at suitable geographical urban  locations encountered along a usual road map major Highways, where the Airship can just be pulled along some hangar ramp for taking passengers in and out a sheltered area.

​

In Extreme climatic areas, large Concentric Vertical Opening Systems will be used for operational safety, permitting the UFD or Transport Drones to access vertically a refuge access in a safe protected shelter, being a Large Concentric Sky Dome or a Star shape closing device as described in the annex;

A full Commercial Center is then integrated in close proximity to the Sky Dome Shelters, including a Terminal for Passengers, other facilities like Cargo Handling for the Reception and expedition of Goods.  These Facilities will also attract municipal and Medical Facilities, along with Restaurants and Hotels;
